Research Interests:

The role of social capital in access to and outcomes from education, and the development and evaluation of generic skills in higher education, with a particular interest in Information Literacy.

Doctoral Supervisory Interests

Ralph Catts is currently supervising research projects concerned with access to and outcomes of education. He is able to support research using either quantitative and / or qualitative methods. He also has an interest in the role of generic skills in higher education and employment, with particular interests in information literacy and in social capital.
