Plenary speakers
Thank you so much for attending the L3 conference in Stirling. I do hope you enjoyed it and found it useful.

Publications

There will be a special issue of the International Journal of Multilingualism, and also a themed book in the Schneider series. To make things easier, the requirements are the same for both: please see http://www.multilingual-matters.com/multi/guidelines/guidelines_journals.asp?TAG=%26CID=

These publications will be broadly themed, with the theme for each based on the submissions received, and the quality of the submissions. The reason is that publishers require themed works. Please send the submission in the language the paper was given in, or in English (please contact me first if you wish to submit in any other language).

If your abstract was accepted but you were then unable to attend the conference, you are welcome to submit your work for consideration, the same as any presenter.

The best papers submitted will be considered for publication.

The deadline is 30 November 2007 for all submissions.

Please submit your paper to me at L3conference@stir.ac.uk

NB. If your paper is chosen for the International Journal of Multilingualism, you will then be sent an email asking you to submit it again through Manuscript Central, the programme used by Multilingual Matters to track papers submitted for publication, stating in the covering note that it has been accepted for the Special Issue of the IJM of papers from the Stirling L3 conference.

If you have any photographs you'd be willing to share (Wallace Monument, the ceilidh, the trip to the castles), please email them to L3conference@stir.ac.uk

Many thanks,
Charlie
